A portrait of Armando, world famous painter, writer and sculptor, and also a talented actor and musician. The film traces the roots of his inspiration, the conflict of the second world war. Juxtaposing Armando’s paintings and sculptures with slow motion of Wehrmacht soldiers crawling under barbed wire, the guilty landscapes of Nurnberg, South Germany and Holland. Armando reads his own poems and plays the violin.
